The Sims 4 is about to get a little bit stranger, with the release of their newest game pack The Sims 4 StrangerVille. With a release date of February 26 2019 for PC and Mac, EA has offered some interesting details and informational tidbits ahead of the pack’s launch.

Taking place in the titular StrangerVille, the pack introduces the town as the site of a brand new, big mystery, one where all of its Sim residents end up getting wrapped up in it. Among the bizarre places featured in the town, the trailer places particular emphasis on the library and the local military base – where everyone looks like zombies that have gone through a random face generator. Current bets right now are being placed on "alien antics" and "government conspiracy." Possibly both, with these theories being aided by the fact that StrangerVille is an odd little desert town, not unlike the infamous Roswell.

The game pack is going to be revolving around the mystery of the town, but also promises a host of new clothing options for your Sims to suit up in to make sure they’re on the cutting edge of investigative fashion trends, as well as a new local watering hole and more clues than you can shake a stick at.

For those who are curious about the mysteries and goings-on in the town, check out The Sims Instagram and Twitter pages, where hints are being dropped and so is a StrangerVille comic, for those who are inclined to start slinging their own conspiracy theories around.

Are you going to be venturing to StrangerVille with The Sims next week? What do you think is behind the mystery of the oddly zombified Sims and their bizarre behavior? What other expansion packs and game packs would you want to see in the future? Let us know in the comments below!
