Many publishers and developers use E3 to announce new games, and publisher Maximum Games is no different. At E3 this year, they announced two new games: The Golf Club 2 and Troll & I.

The Golf Club 2 is developed by HB Studios, the developer behind the original. The game features a new career mode that allows you to start as an amateur golfer, and work your way up to pro. The swing mechanics have been revamped to give better control using a new system called Tempo Swing, and the game brings back the high amounts of customization that made the first game shine. The course editor will return and allow players to make their dream golf courses. Players can also customize their characters and create their own logos to brand their clothes and golf equipment with.

Troll & I is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Spiral House, who assisted main development teams on games like LittleBigPlanet, Stuntman, and Motorstorm. The game puts you in the role of Otto, a human who is chased from his home by troll hunters. While running, he stumbles upon an actual troll and the two must team up to survive. The game lets you switch between characters to explore and fight enemies. It also allows you to gather materials to craft items to help you.

While their main focus was one these two new games, Maximum Games also brought a few other games they were publishing to E3. Included was melee-combat focused racer Road Rage, open-world snowboarding game Infinite Air, and virtual reality episodic adventure game Loading Human.

Both The Golf Club 2 and Troll & I are coming out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2017, with Road Rage and Infinite Air coming out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Fall of 2016. Loading Human's first episode comes out on Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR in October 2016.
