Earlier today, a thirty-second teaser video for Dishonored 2, the next title in the Dishonored franchise from Bethesda Softworks, was leaked onto the internet via a Twitch stream.  Currently, the only way to view the teaser video is in a .webm; the teaser video was originally posted to dailymotion.com, but has been taken down due to a copyright claim from Bethesda’s parent company, ZeniMax Media.

For those worried about Dishonored 2 spoilers, don’t worry, the teaser video contains none.

You can watch the teaser video here.

This isn’t the only game to have content leaked ahead of schedule.  TechRaptor staff has covered news regarding leaks of Titanfall 2 trailers and special collector’s editions, and will continue to update throughout the day as more content and trailers are leaked ahead of scheduled conference times.

Dishonored 2 is scheduled to release later this year, on November 11th, for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and on Windows PC.  Bethesda’s E3 conference is set for tonight at 7 PM PDT / 9 PM CST / 10 PM EST.

Stay tuned to TechRaptor for continuing coverage of Dishonored 2 and E3 2016.

Quick Take

I actually haven’t played the first Dishonored, so I can’t comment on whether the teaser video stays true to the tone of the original game.  Speaking as a player new to the Dishonored franchise though, I will say that although the teaser video looks very cool, it jumps from scene to scene and doesn’t really give the player much context on what is going on.  I hope that tonight’s Bethesda conference gives more information and context on the Dishonored 2 teaser video because I wouldn’t be interested in buying it based just on that video alone.
