With E3 coming next week, we here at TechRaptor thought we would show you what we expect to see from the major publishers. Let's talk about Sony.  Their press conference begins June 9th at 6:00pm PDT. Just as Microsoft has much to prove, at E3 2014 Sony does as well.

One of the most obvious things that Sony will talk about is Project Morpheus. As the Playstation 4 was the big piece of hardware they discussed last year, Project Morpheus will be this year. I would expect some demonstrations of it in use and some technical discussion on what it can do.

Remember when Driveclub was supposed to be a launch window title? Yeah, that is a thing of the past. Driveclub has been pushed back until October 7, so I would most definitely expect to see some more gameplay of it. Driveclub is a racing game that offers some kind of team racing and higher connectivity and interaction through social networking. We'll likely see more of what that means this year.

Over the past few weeks there have been some leaks about something called Project Beast, which is supposedly the new game from From Software, the makers of Dark Souls and Demon's Souls. What that actually is, and whether we will see any of it is up for debate. Something tells me though the recent leaks may be a small indication that we may at least see something about the game. Like the real name, unless it is really called Project Beast. Don't expect any gameplay though.

With the recent delay of The Order: 1886which included a new gameplay video, I would expect to hear even more about the game at E3. Many people will be wondering what has happened and where the game is going. Seeing as we have seen some gameplay already, I would not be too surprised if E3 showed off some more.

Assassin's Creed has often made an appearance during Sony's conference, so we may see some information about Assassin's Creed Unity. Ubisoft has confirmed so far that the game is set in Paris during the French Revolution and will be released later this year.  They also showed off some footage. I would expect to hear a little bit here, but seeing as Ubisoft has their own press conference, they may leave some for there as well.

One of the biggest titles they will likely show off is Final Fantasy XV, the game that evolved from Final Fantasy Versus Xiii. From what we saw last year, Final Fantasy XV seems to be unlike any other Final Fantasy game in that is seems to be hack and slash rather than their signature turn-based combat. It looked visually amazing as well, but something shown at E3 is going to look amazing in comparison to what it will look like when it is released.

The biggest, at least for me, will (hopefully) be some more information about Kingdom Hearts III. Last year we saw only a teaser of the game, but I for one can't wait to see more. I highly doubt there will be any gameplay footage shown, but they may show some kind of cinematic or at least talk about what the game will be like. Talk about a new feature or two. The game is still likely a long ways off - we'll probably see it again at E3 2015.

With the teaser of Uncharted 4 in November, I would definitely expect to see more about the game here. There may be nothing significant shown, a short teaser showing some cryptic phrases and maps with maybe Nathan Drake's voice over it, but nothing more. Definitely not any gameplay, especially considering the turmoil at Naughty Dog, with key people leaving the project.

Finally, this wouldn't be a proper E3 2014 Sony speculation piece without a mention of Team Ico's The Last Guardian. Will there be information about it? Maybe. Will there be no discussion of it? Probably. This game has been in development for seven years, and was first announced back at E3 2009. It is impossible to tell whether or not something will be said about the game. The only reason I think there may be even a little something is the fact that it has been just so ridiculously long.

We also can't forget to mention that Valve is going to have something going on during the Sony event. The speculation can go crazy on this one, and I don't have any clue what it could be. Valve has always been a wild card. But seeing as they seem to have a good relationship with Sony, I think our best hope would be to see something about Left 4 Dead 3. But, most likely it will have something to do with Steam Machines.

Sony recently has announced they have not been having any problem selling their console, so now they need to solve the problem of selling some games. As with all the next-gen consoles at the moment, none have a particularly strong library. Sony, just as Microsoft and Nintendo has to do, must remedy that.
