The much anticipated 'Project Beast' was given a brief showing at Sony's E3 press conference. This new title, Bloodborne, is a new IP from critically acclaimed developer From Software (directed by company president Miyazaki) coming exclusively to PS4.

So far we don't know much, though we were treated to a cinematic trailer that will give fans plenty to read into over the next few days. The trailer gave us a look at a Victorian inspired fantasy world dripping in atmosphere and full of... Death... It's a From Software game after all. There were zombies,  there was violence, a health dose of blood and even a mysterious man in a wheelchair.

From Software are known for being cryptic and for stuffing things full of secrets, so I'm sure there's plenty for us to discover. So far, all we can say is, it looks really cool! The aesthetic is grim and depressing, in keeping with the studios' wonderful Demon's Souls and Dark Souls (and its sequel), meaning I can't wait to die a tonne in this new world.

This showing of the dark and violent world of Bloodborne has only given us a brief glimpse, but it's just great to know that this rumoured game exists. It's awesome to see From Software making another new IP - and it's nice to see them making an exclusive for Sony again. We will fill you in on more information when we get it.
