Dying Light Enhanced Edition is releasing on the 9th of February. This free update will be available to all current owners of Dying Light. The update will bring enhanced graphics, new upgrade levels, bounties and plenty more.

This Saturday members of the Dying Light development team will be getting together to play the best of the community created maps. These maps are ones made by PC users using the Dying Light Dev Tools. The best part of this is that they are planning on streaming for all to view at Twitch.tv/techland.

Community manager Michal Napora summarized the event by saying the following:

We've said on many different occasions how much we enjoy playing maps created by our fans, but now the time has come to show it. There's so much variety and ingenuity in there, even more so since we added co-op and PvP support. One more thing: we will be making select maps available on consoles, and we will play some of them this Saturday!

That's right, it's not just that we will get to see these community created maps but that for those on console who haven't been able to experience the mod support of Dying Light they might be able to soon. There is no conclusive word yet on when these maps and mods will be available on console though.

Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and will be available as a digital download and in stores. If you have already purchased the base game then you will get the enhanced edition update for free and you will also be able to get The Following DLC as individual content.
