We really wanted to make the game super accessible for fans of all ages and there's no better platform to accomplish that on than the Nintendo Switch. We're taking full advantage of the Switch by allowing players to use both the controllers and the touchscreen for a truly innovative dungeon-crawling experience," said Johan Eile, CEO of Riposte Games & Co.
Dungeon Stars will allow players to unlock over 15 heroes with unique abilities, face hordes of different monsters and bosses, liberate pet companions that will fight at the player's side in battle, discover portals to secret dungeons with rare treasures, and fight through hundreds of different levels.

Dungeon Stars is available for pre-order now at $4.99 and will launch on February 19 on the Nintendo Switch.

Quick Take:

This game doesn't look like much, but for $4.99 I am cautiously interested. If the reviews and performance are good, I could see myself picking this up for a casual experience. I'm not sure if it will be a good title, though, as most mobile ports are either badly optimized or just boring/dull games to begin with. We don't have to wait for long, though, as we'll find out on Tuesday whether Dungeon Stars is a good fit for the Nintendo Switch or not.

What do you think of this game? Do you think it's worth five dollars? Let us know in the comments!
