Developer Red Winter has announced that their game Dungelot: Shattered Lands will be released for iOS soon. On Thursday, January 21st the game will be available to download on iPhones and iPads. This is the third installment in the Dungelot series and claims to have improved on the formula that made fans love it’s predecessors.

Classic Minesweeper mechanics are melded with rogue-like dungeon crawling to create the unique mobile gaming experience that is Dungelot. Red Winter studios announced the upcoming title during E3 2015 and the developers have been working away since to deliver the next Dungelot game and now, it’s finally ready for release.  

Featuring the same rogue-lite game-play the Dungelot series is known for this latest game will be adding some new things as well. Shattered Lands will be the first in the series to have boss battles. There are also some fast-paced mini games and story events in between dungeons to shake things up.

Dungelot: Shattered Lands

Goblins are just one of the enemy types players will face in Dungelot: Shattered Lands.

Dungelot: Shattered Lands includes 3 explorable worlds, 18 dangerous dungeons and a challenging endless mode. There are four characters to play as and upgrade, each with their own unique play style. Zombie cows, giant evil mushrooms and angry totems await players in this roguelike dungeon-crawler.

Each world will will have its own monsters, landscapes and dungeons. If you can make it through the dungeons you will return home to the mansion victorious. Rescue heroes to collect trophies, loot and powerful buffs.

In addition to launching on iOS Dungelot: Shattered Lands will be releasing on Steam. There isn’t a Steam release date yet but it’s promised to come very soon. Past Dungelot games have been released on Android as well but there is no news of an Android release for Shattered Lands at this time; the price is also to be announced.
