Ducktales: Remastered is leaving digital storefronts on very short notice — you'll only have the next 2–4 days to pick it up if you haven't yet grabbed yourself a copy of the game on all platforms.

If you haven't yet played this game, Ducktales: Remastered is a fantastic remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System game based on the classic Disney Afternoon cartoon. Focusing on the adventures of Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Huey, Dewie, and Louie, Ducktales took the player through several challenging levels that were pretty up there on the Nintendo Hard™ scale (though not quite as bad as the likes of Battletoads).

Players hunted for various unique treasures across five levels and earned one of three endings depending on the treasures they collected and how much money they earned in their adventure. This gameplay was expanded in Ducktales: Remastered with voice acting from the surviving cast of the show and additional content to further flesh out the game.

Unfortunately, it seems that the game will no longer be available for purchase on digital storefronts in short order. A tweet from CAPCOM announced the removal of the game from digital storefronts:

That tweet also included a link to a blog post that explained the dates it would be removed from various digital storefronts. CAPCOM did not explain why the game was being pulled from sale, but these kinds of situations are typically related to the expiration of licenses.

It also should be noted that boxed copies of the game ought to continue to function as normal once the game is removed from digital storefronts.

Ducktales: Remastered - Where to buy it before it's gone

Sales of the remastered version of Ducktales are going to be halting at different times depending on the platform.

Bear in mind that the CAPCOM blog post notes that it may be removed from stores earlier than these times. If you don't yet already own the game and you want to buy it, it's best not to wait!
