A Facebook update by the developers of Driveclub on the progress of resolving ongoing server issues, that have been a thorn in the game's side since launch, makes no mention of the PlayStation Plus version of the game.

The update earlier today assured users that the team at Evolution Studios is working around the clock to improve social connectivity and online play. The post also promised more updates would soon follow regarding more updates to the game and its servers, as well as stating that the team was paying close attention to comments and feedback from the community.

Sunday, Driveclub game director, Paul Rustchynsky stated that all options were currently being considered when asked about compensation for current owners of the game who were forced to deal with the frustration of being unable to play online. However, as the news was reported around the internet, Rustchynsky tweeted out Monday that, for now, he was no longer able to respond to questions about Driveclub.

With server issues looking unlikely to be resolved this week, and last's week's announcement that the PlayStation Plus version has been delayed indefinitely, it could be as late as November before subscribers are able to download the 16GB pared down version of the game. For now, though, at least owners of the full game can enjoy the newly added friendly leaderboards.
