Dragon Quest Heroes and FF X13 hitting Steam in December

Square Enix have confirmed that they will bring popular hack-and-slash adventure Dragon Quest Heroes: The Worlds Tree's Woe and the Blight Below, as well as role playing game, Lightning returns: Final Fantasy 13, to Steam next month.

Dragon Quest Heroes, was initially released exclusively on Playstation 4 in North America, but will be available on Steam as of December 3rd. The PC version, which is the Digital Slime Edition, will include 11 new weapons and 2 bonus maps as well. The game, which is developed by KOEI TECMO, will still incorporate strategy- orientated battles and players will have the chance to collect monster medals, from defeated foes, giving them the chance to either bring them back as allies, or use their special skills. Players can fight alongside up to 24 monsters at any one time. Square Enix have not yet released details of the End user license agreement but may do so in the near future. The game has previously had a restrictive streaming policy, with certain areas of the game being prohibited from streaming. You can find out more about the restrictive policy here. Dragon Quest Heroes will retail for $53.99 as part of a special launch promotion that has it 10% discounted off its usual $59.99 price. Lightning Returns Final Fantasy 13

Lightning Returns will be the concluding chapter for the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy when it hits steam on December 10th. The PC release will include almost all downloadable content from the original console game, including Japanese voice-overs, and various costumes weapons and shields. The games main playable character Lightning, will also receive new outfits based on the Final Fantasy characters Cloud and Yuna as well as 2013's Tomb Raider. However, the Final Fantasy 13 Aerith Schemata will not be included in the DLC pack, and Square Enix have no plans to make it available to players in the foreseeable future. The game also has no links to Square Enix Members or social networking sites. Player also will not be able to change the names assigned to chocobos, map markers or schemata. The bonus items that were given to players for having saves of the previous games on console have been converted into an automatic bonus for everyone, regardless if the player has any save data on their computer.
