The first game shown by Devolver Digital is Fall Guys. This adorable game features a bunch of colorful characters running around in an equally-colorful game world. This may be the cutest Battle Royale-esque game on the market.

This game is being developed by Mediatonic, the same company that is behind the Gears Pop game that debuted at Microsoft's E3 2018 conference. (Gears Pop also showed up at this year's E3.) seems that they have a particular affinity for making games with adorable characters and a whole bunch of chaos, and soon you'll be able to grab the second title from this indie developer: Fall Guys will be coming to PC and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2020.

At first, I thought that Fall Guys had players running their characters through an obstacle course. However, a subsequent press release from Devolver Digital clarified the situation. 100 individual players will each take command of one of the titular colorful characters as they try to make their way through the end of a level. Each level has a bunch of different hazards and enemies that are trying to knock you off of the map.

As you progress through the game, the hazards and enemies get increasingly ridiculous and even more challenging. Eventually, only one Fall Guy will be remaining and subsequently crowned the winner. If this game lives up to its trailer, it looks like it's going to be one heck of an interesting challenge for you to overcome!

You can watch the Fall Guys reveal trailer below to see a cinematic version of what the final product will ideally feel and play like. Fall Guys will be coming to PC and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2020.
