The first Destiny 2 weekly reset is now live, changing last month’s list of weekly activities. Nightfall, Flashpoint, Call to Arms, and Clan XP gains have been refreshed, allowing players to gather four Powerful Gear or luminous engrams starting today.

The Weekly Nightfall has now been changed to the Inverted Spire, which was the playable strike in the game’s beta. Similar to last week’s The Arms Dealer Nightfall, both the timer and Prism modifier will be present in the Inverted Spire. The new Nightfall will also have the Timewarp: Rings modifier, which extends the mission timer for passing through Vex time gates.

A reputation bundle can be earned for completing three strike challenges, including the Nightfall. Below are the strike challenges for The Inverted Spire Nightfall:

  • Speed of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least five minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than three deaths.
  • The Floor is Lava: As a fireteam, do not get hit by Protheon’s fiery ground attack before defeating it.

The Flashpoint for this week will be held on Nessus. Additionally, Cayde-6 is selling five new Treasure Maps for Nessus, so make sure to purchase them beforehand.

You can now earn a Powerful Gear again this week by participating in Crucible matches in Destiny 2. Lastly, clans can now reach a higher level as the weekly personal contribution cap has been reset.

The Destiny 2 weekly reset happens every Tuesday at 1 am PST. Make sure to take advantage of the weekly reset in order to easily raise your power level. At present, acquiring Powerful Gear is the best way to steadily increase your Guardian’s Power Level once players hit the soft level cap. More content will also release in the following days, with the Leviathan raid coming on September 13, Trials of the Nine and Countdown game mode on Eternity come September 15, and more.
