Pumpkin spice season is nearly upon us. The leaves are changing, California is still on fire, and PlayStation is offering another round of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Just in time for the next chapter in the never-ending Destiny saga, Playstation Plus members will be able to download the base game Destiny 2 as well as God of War 3 Remastered and a handful of other titles for all current PlayStation platforms this September, including 6 for PlayStation 4 (7 if you count VR).

September starts off with a bang with the not an MMO but totally an MMO shooter from Bungie, Destiny 2.  The game is a follow up from the original Destiny and its 4 expansions, in which you play as a guardian and defend humanities last city by shooting an assortment of 3 different aliens in the face all while earning loot and having a good time with friends during raids. It's surprisingly addictive and the shooting is what one would expect from the studio who brought us Halo. For those of you who haven't given the game a chance, this September is a perfect time to do so right before the games newest expansion drops, Destiny 2: Forsaken. For more info about Destiny 2, you can read our review here. Below is the trailer for Destiny 2 directed by the guy who is currently working on the Metal Gear Solid movie.

God of War saw a major resurgence this year with the excellent PS4 release.  For those of you who are new to the series or miss the good old days of the PS2/ps3 era God of War titles, God of War 3: Remastered is available for the month to all PlayStation Plus subscribers.  God of War 3: Remastered features all the over the top mythological action you would expect from the series, but in beautiful 1080p 60fps.  The game may be 8 years old, but it still holds up well and is definitely worth checking out for the first time ever or to take a trip down a very bloody memory lane back to a simpler time when Kratos knew how to shave.

Filling out the rest of this month's offerings is an assortment of games for the entire PlayStation family of consoles (including the Vita)

Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition (PS3/PS4/Vita)

Qube Director's Cut (PS3/PS4) (Our Review)

Sparkle 2 (PS3/PS4/Vita)

Foul Play (PS3/PS4/Vita)

Here They Lie (PS VR) (Our Review)

While it ain't Knack 2, September is looking to be one of the better months for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Just remember, once your subscription lapses, so do the games.  Also if you don't have the hard drive space you can always just add every game listed above to your library and save them for a rainy day or something.
