PlayStation Plus December

It's another month, and it's time for Sony to add some new titles to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus members. This month, they feature some well-regarded indie titles across the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Sony even did their once a month remembrance of the PlayStation Vita's existence.

Invisible Inc. is the first PlayStation 4 PS Plus game, and it is the turn-based stealth game by Klei Entertainment. Invisible Inc. was originally released on PC but then ported to PlayStation 4 in April this year. In the game that meshes up stealth, turn-based combat, and rogue-lite elements, you fight against the clock on a series of missions you choose to take down a machine that threatens to reveal where you and your allies are. We reviewed it back when it came out on PC in 2015 giving it an 8.5 out of 10.

The other PlayStation 4 title is Stories: The Path of Destinies is a game that mixes simple action RPG elements with a story that you can take down through different branches. Stories: Path of Destinies relies on a narrator to help draw the action and story together as you discover more about it. We reviewed it when it came out on PlayStation 4 earlier this year, giving it a 6 out of 10.

Those aren't the only PlayStation 4 titles, however as both PlayStation 3 titles are cross-buy with the PlayStation 4. Tiny Troopers Joint Ops is also cross-buy for the PlayStation Vita, making it available on all 3 platforms as it nails the hat trick. Tiny Troopers is an indie arcade shooter with little tiny bite-sized characters on appropriately sized maps and challenges that you run about shooting up enemies. The second PlayStation 3 title is Hyper Void and, despite the PlayStation Blog failing to list it as Cross-Buy, the developers have confirmed that it is indeed available as cross buy and it has free PSVR DLC. As for what Hyper Void is, it's a 3rd person space shooter single player arcade game that takes place in intergalactic wormholes to help change the situations and scenarios.

The PlayStation Vita games are a bit more mixed, with only Color Guardians being a cross-buy title with the PlayStation 4. Color Guardians is a side scrolling game where you change colors and try to collect items through over 70 levels. The final Instant Game Collection addition is VVVVVV for the PlayStation Vita. It isn't a cross-buy title but does take its puzzle platforming to the PlayStation Vita masses this week.
