The new slew of Games with Gold are coming very soon. For Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can get their hands on Q.U.B.E. 2 and Never Alone. Additionally, Dragon Age II for Xbox 360 and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction for the original Xbox can be claimed. Both of the latter titles will be backward compatible with the Xbox One.

The time window to download each of these games can be found below:

  • Q.U.B.E. 2: Dec. 1–31
  • Never Alone: Dec. 16–Jan. 15
  • Dragon Age II: Dec. 1–15
  • Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction: Dec. 16–31
As long as you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription, you can claim these games during the times listed.

Q.U.B.E. 2 is a first-person puzzle platformer that tasks players with manipulating the environment using magic gloves. It's a beautiful game, there's a heavier focus on narrative over puzzle solving. In our review, we gave the game a middling score, calling it "an undercooked sequel, one that was probably unnecessary in the first place."

Never Alone is a platformer that delves into the history and traditions of the Iñupiat people in Alaska. The game focuses on narrative more than gameplay, paying its respects to the Alaskan Native tribe. In our 7/10 review, we called the game "a middle of the road platformer with some nice scenery, a story of companionship and a few decent set pieces."

Dragon Age II, the second mainline game in one of Bioware's high-profile franchises, focuses on the story of the Champion of Kirkwall. Build your own character and gather a party of deadly friends in this tactical fantasy RPG.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is an action game about chaos. Using a variety of military-grade vehicles and weapons, you cause as much destruction as possible to topple an evil military regime.

The Games with Gold lineup for November is still partially available for a few days more. Until Nov. 30, you can claim Battlefield 1 and Dante's Inferno. Additionally, Race the Sun will be available until Dec. 15.

Are there any games this month that catch your eye? What will you be playing? Let us know in the comments below.
