Cyberpunk 2077 Most Viewed On YouTube During E3, Followed by Marvel's Avengers And Jedi Fallen Order

E3 2019 is almost over, but the hype goes on, and now the numbers and data are starting to come out so we can see what are the most popular and anticipated games. Daniel Ahmad, games industry analyst extraordinaire, has compiled a very handy list showing the most viewed game trailers on YouTube out of E3 2019, based on data supplied by Mike Armbrust. However, as Ahmad adds in a follow-up tweet, take these numbers with a grain of salt, as they combine all trailers from a single game to create a final view number, and tracking for number of days is inconsistent, as some of these trailers were revealed on the first day of E3, and the rest later. Also, some view counts may be inflated due to running with ads.

As we can see, Cyberpunk 2077 tops the list, though Marvel's Avengers is right on its heels, followed by Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order lagging a little behind. If the first Cyberpunk 2077 E3 trailer released back in June 2018 also counts, it gets quite the headstart. You can see all other trailers on the game's official YouTube channel, which actually only has 557K subscribers. The number of views is much more impressive if we compare it to the whopping 13M subscribers to the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel, which handles all Marvel Entertainment IPs rather than just Marvel's Avengers.

Most Viewed Games E3 2019

Under 10 million views we see Halo Infinite with 6M views, dogged by FIFA 20, and the Final Fantasy VII Remake, and a little further behind the teaser to the sequel of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Minecraft Dungeons, and Watch Dogs: Legion occupy the 3M views ranking, with everything else under that, including Elden Ring, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Apex Legends, GhostWire: Tokyo, Rainbox Six Quarantine, DOOM Eternal, Borderlands 3, Dying Light 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Some of these were not E3 reveals, so it makes perfect sense that they achieved lower views at E3.

More conveniently, however, Ahmad also shares another list showing the highest rated games of E3 2019, and it comes with a few surprises. Planet Zoo tops the list with Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The sequel of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild follows, along with Carrion, Luigi's Mansion 3, Trials of Mana, Astral Chain, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Cadence of Hyrule, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These are the top ten highest rated games at E3 2019, measured by the number of likes per dislike on all videos and trailers for each game. You can see the rest below.
