CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting a raft of post-launch content. This will include single-player DLC and a multiplayer mode.

The studio had previously said that multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077 "was in R&D". Now, as the game moves closer to single-player launch in April next year, CD Projekt Red has confirmed a multiplayer mode is coming. We don't have any details on what that multiplayer mode will entail yet. The team is also putting out a call for staff members to help them create this aspect of the game. If you're interested, you can apply on their official website right here. That'd be a cool thing to have on your resume, no?

If you're not a multiplayer fan, don't worry. CD Projekt Red has also stated that there are single-player DLC packs in the works. The studio says the plan is to release the main game in April, then follow up with "DLCs (free!) and single-player content". Whether this means there will be paid DLC alongside the free stuff isn't clear yet. If The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is anything to go by, expect a couple of meaty single-player expansion packs in addition to extra quests and equipment as DLC. We'll have to wait and see.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a video game adaptation of the tabletop role-playing system Cyberpunk 2020. You'll assume control of V, a customizable mercenary with a wide range of skills and combat options. Unlike The Witcher 3, you'll be able to work your way through Cyberpunk 2077 without killing anyone. It's being developed by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt studio CD Projekt Red and will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on April 16th next year. If that wasn't enough to sell you on the game, it's also got Keanu Reeves in it.
