It’s 2016 and we live in a world of PlayStation 4 Slim’s and Pro’s and Xbox One S’. Surely the variety of consoles will demand great deals around Black Friday, and while that’s true, Xbox One and PS4 bundle offers are already popping up around the net this October.

PlayStation 4 October Deals

The place to pick up a PS4 deal this week in undoubtedly eBay. There we’ve spotted three consoles bundled with brand new releases (and more), mostly at cost of what the PS4 consoles are selling for separately elsewhere online.

Case in point we have the PS4 Black Ops III bundle packaged with a copy the newly released Rise of Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration and an extra controller (2 total controllers) for $339.99. That’s playing $40 more than the console bundle alone sells to get $110 in bonuses, so a real world value of $70 in extras – not bad. The other two PS4 console offerings are $299.99 bundles with a free game tacked on.

Xbox One October Deals

There are quite a few more offerings for the Xbox One (unsurprisingly) and this is partly due to the variety of console bundles they have offered online – so choosing the best Xbox One S deal can get a bit confusing for the uninformed. This week, Best Buy is running an offer where you can buy a 55-inch Samsung 4K TV (retails for $750+) and get a free Xbox One S bundle, which will work out to $200 in savings. On eBay Deals, the new Minecraft Bundle is getting a free copy of this week’s release Gears of War 4 plus a Gears of War Beanie for $309.99 (physical goodie? sure why not).

Latest Xbox One S Deals

GameStop is running an offer where if you buy any Xbox One console from them through October 16 you’ll get a free copy of Fallout 4. GameStop won’t hold your hand on this deal, and you’ll have to go here and add a physical copy to cart. When both the console and game are in the cart you’ll see Fallout 4 made free.

GameStop Bundles

Those looking to pick up an Xbox One or PS4 bundle this year have some decisions to make. Wait for potentially better deals, especially on Black Friday, or give in and pick up a console deal now. If you’re itching to play a new release, like Gears of War 4 or Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration these deals aren’t bad and you’re justified in buying today. If you’ll kick yourself after the holiday season for not getting the best value of the year, then hold off and remember to buy only when the offer is better than today.
