Crackdown 3 has finally been given a release date of February 15, 2019. It'll launch on Xbox One and PC.

This was announced at XO18, where Wrecking Zone, the game's 5v5 multiplayer mode was also showed off for the first time. The mode will seemingly have a focus on destruction, as the two teams fight it out in a highly destructible arena.

Presented as a training exercise for Agents, Wrecking Zone pits two teams of five against each other. The mode was co-developed by Sumo Digital, Elbow Rocket, and Certain Affinity.

Two maps were shown off, Blackout Zone and Nova Station, as well as two modes, Territories and Agent Station.

The gameplay that was shown showed off a huge amount of destructibility and a lot of customization, including a variety of different skills and visuals.

After multiple delays, Crackdown 3 is now slated for a February 15, 2019 release. As a first-party game it will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on the day of release. The game will be a Play Anywhere title, so you can purchase it on Xbox One and play on PC, or vice-versa.

In a new promotion, Microsoft is giving away the original 2007 Crackdown as a free backwards compatible download through November 30.

Crackdown 3 launches February 15, 2019, for Xbox One and PC.
