Today, XSEED Games announced that Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash will be coming to PC via Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store on April 10 for $19.99, with a launch week sale of 10% off.

“The preparations for this party took longer than we had originally planned,” said Ken Berry, Executive Vice President of XSEED Games, “We truly appreciate how patient ‘Corpse Party’ fans have been while we took additional time to deliver an experience deserving of the series.”
This latest Corpse Party title offers a somewhat different experience for fans of the long-running series. Sachiko Shinozaki, a vengeful spirit, is hosting a party for her 7th birthday, granting her victims (both new characters and characters from previous Corpse Party games) a 24-hour amnesty to join her party. The guests will participate in different activities for Sachiko's amusement, with the theme centering around a romantic comedy.

Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash is an interquel to Corpse Party and Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, taking place between those two games. A visual novel like the other games in the series, this Corpse Party title will feature 8 main chapters that will each focus on a different activity or "cluster" of activities. The Player's decisions will determine which of the game's 28 possible endings will be achieved, with only one true ending per chapter leading to the next chapter. For those who want to survive until the end, they will have to think like Sachiko, pleasing her by making the right decisions with the fewest deaths possible.

Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash will be coming to PC via Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store on April 10 for $19.99, with a launch week sale of 10% off.
