If you think of what animal would make a good warlock, you either thought of Corgis or you’re very wrong. At least it’s what the developer of Corgi Warlock seems to think. The game is a simple and cute looking side scrolling action game featuring a Corgi that uses black magic and her animal sidekicks in a quest to defeat the evil Bunny King. Corgi Warlock resonated fairly well with the public so far thanks to its cute aestethics and decent gameplay. Corgi Warlock just received a holiday update that improves various aspects of the game.
With the latest patch, Corgi Warlock received a graphical update. Terrain textures improved a great deal, and now feels more consistent wit the game’s overall aestethics. As you can see in the following comparison pictures, the difference in terrain and background textures is noticeable. It also helps that now Maia (the main character’s inspired by the developer’s actual dog), has more than one expression.

Another much needed update, comes from changes to the keyboard controls. Without the use of a controller, the game used to be tricky to play. You had to reach far and wide on the keyboard to press the right keys for the actions you wanted to perform. Among other things, with this update, Healing Light and Corgi Power have been moved to CTRL and space bar respectively instead of 6 and 7 number keys, making keyboard users’ life a lot easier.
On top of the graphics and controls tweaking, some bug and gameplay fixes found their way as well in this update.
