The Conan Exiles Anniversary Update is here, adding a bunch of new content to the game one year after its full release. Haven't had the chance to play? Worry not — a Conan Exiles free weekend is also on the way!
Several new bits of content have been added in the Conan Exiles Anniversary Update according to a news post on the game's Steam Community page. The big ticket item is the underwater dungeon called The Sunken City. Intended for high-level players, you'll have to combat an ancient evil that is lurking below the depths. A new mini-dungeon called the Scorpion Den is also available and will give you the opportunity to tame these creatures as pets. Speaking of pets, you'll also have some new spooky bois joining you in battle — a brand-new Witch Doctor feat will allow you to summon undead.
Multiple NPC capitals have been revamped as well. The Unnamed City, the Volcano, Sepermeru, and the Summoning Place, have all had changes made including population shifts, new NPCs, and new bosses for you to fight. Players will also be able to enjoy a boatload of new craftable and lootable items.
Finally, a Conan Exiles free weekend will be taking place starting May 9, 2019, and concluding on May 13, 2019. As with most free weekends, the game will be available at a discounted price for the duration of the free weekend.
