PS3, PS4, and PC players can now experience what Xbox Live users have had for about a month as the second downloadable content pack (or DLC) for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, titled Ascendance, is now available for them.
Ascendance, the second epic DLC pack for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare is live on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.Ascendance features four new action-packed maps, the formidable OHM weapon (a 2-in-1 directed energy light machine gun/shotgun), the OHM Werewolf custom variant, and Infection, the highly-anticipated next entry in Exo Zombies. In addition, the DLC pack also includes the all-new Exo Grapple ability playlist, which delivers a faster way to reach strategic vantage points, and also doubles as a brutal secondary weapon to take down the competition. The four new multiplayer maps provide a variety of new encounters for players.
- Perplex takes place in a five story modular apartment in Sydney. Expect to change strategies mid way as construction drones move the apartment around, creating new paths and covers for players.
- Site 244 is set in the backdrop of a crashed spaceship in the shadow of Mt. Rushmore. Players will fight through the debris laden landscape and unlock alien spores which boost their perks and exo-ablities.
- Climate has players fighting in an enclosed, futuristic climate controlled enclosure, utilizing the land and water routes. Careful though, as the river has a tendency to change from an asset to a danger.
- Chop Shop is a black market exoskeleton industrial complex. Activating the map-based score streak gives you control of an Advanced Repulsion Turret that emits a deadly microwave EMP.
Those who have the Season Pass for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare already have access to Ascendance. Those who do not can purchase Ascendance for $14.99 or the Season Pass for $49.99 which nets a $10 discount over buying the DLC packs individually.
