Child of Light and Valiant Hearts: The Great War are coming to Nintendo Switch this fall.

Both games were confirmed for Nintendo's hybrid console via a news post on the official Ubisoft websiteChild of Light will be released for the Switch on October 11th, while Valiant Hearts: The Great War will touch down on the console November 8th.

The Switch version of Valiant Hearts: The Great War will ship with fully integrated touch controls, similar to the Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows releases. In addition, Switch owners will have access to Valiant Hearts: Dogs of War, an interactive comic which was previously available as part of mobile platform releases of the game. Child of Light will not have any new Switch features; although a second player can use a Joy-Con to control Aurora's companion Igniculus, this co-op mode is available in other releases of the game.

Child of Light casts players as Aurora, who must save the lost kingdom of Lemuria as well as her sick father. The game is a turn-based RPG which features a skill tree for all playable characters, allowing players to tailor their approach depending on how they want to play. This won't be the first time Child of Light has been available for a Nintendo console, as the game was made available for the Wii U in April 2014. Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a point-and-click adventure game which focuses on five strangers during World War I. With the help of your trusty dog, you'll solve puzzles and infiltrate enemy lines, exploring crucial moments and locations in WWI history. The Nintendo Switch release of Valiant Hearts: The Great War marks the first time the game has been made available on a Nintendo console.
