When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launched, it was with the entire single player campaign and 10 of the 16 multiplayer maps. One of the common questions would be which 10 maps would be included and when the other 6 would be coming. We now have the answer to that question, as the missing 6 maps will be added back into the game on December 13th for free.

Announcing the news in a new trailer for the game, the missing six maps are all shown off. These maps are Bloc, Countdown, Pipeline, Showdown, Strike, and Wetwork. The trailer shows gameplay in all six maps, and all of them look exactly as you remember, only more pretty. While the trailer doesn't mention it, it does also show a seventh special map at the very end, this being Winter Crash. This was a special version of the Crash map, only set at night and with Christmas lights everywhere rather than the usual afternoon version of Crash. Winter Crash was originally a bonus map exclusive to the PC version of Modern Warfare, so this will mark the first time that it's coming to consoles.

While the big news is the six maps, there is a little more. Two more game modes will also be coming to Modern Warfare Remastered in the form of Gun Game and Hardpoint. Gun Game is a deathmatch where every time you kill an enemy you get a new weapon, only winning when you cycle through enough weapons. Hardpoint requires you to capture points on the map and hold them while staving off the other team. Neither mode has been in the original Modern Warfare, and will be joining the already included Kill Confirmed as new game modes in the classic game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or on Steam, and it requires you to buy the deluxe version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to get it. You can read our review of the game here if you want more information.
