Accolade announced that the latest game in the Bubsy franchise, Bubsy The Woolies Strike Back, would be releasing for PlayStation 4, Steam, and GOG this October 31st. As well as the announcement of the release date it was also announced that there would be a collectors edition of the title released.

This limited edition release will be called the Purrfect Edition and while it will be limited at this point in time it is not known how many will be released. This limited edition will be sold at MSRP $39.99 and will include the full game, the original soundtrack, a mystery Bubsy movie poster postcard, and a Bubsy business card. These limited edition boxed version of the game for PS4 will be available for purchase via Amazon, BestBuy, and Gamestop.
If you're not planning on purchasing the limited edition then you will still be able to pick up the game digitally on day 1 for both PlayStation 4 and PC. You will be able to pick up Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back for $29.99. The launch of Bubsy will also mark the return of the Accolade brand that fans of classic titles like Double Dragon, Hardball, and Deadlock will recognize. This company has been revived to rejoin Bubsy in 2017, as announced earlier this year.

It's great to see Bubsy making a return as proof that a few mistakes shouldn't be the end of any character, many of our fan favorites from across the years have a few off adventures but we don't let that spoil the fun.
