Artplay and 505 Games are targeting mid-July for the upcoming Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Nintendo Switch fix. The game has run into its fair share of problems on Nintendo's console including performance issues and crashes.

In a post on Kickstarter, 505 brand manager Roberto Piraino shared upcoming bug fixes and improvements to the game for consoles. Piraino says the infamous Chest Bug, which caused some players to become stuck and unable to progress, has been fixed on Xbox One. If you're playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Microsoft's console, you should be able to download this patch today or tomorrow. The bug remains on PS4, with developers working to identify and solve this problem. On the Switch, a fix is currently being tested for the chest bug. Piraino says this fix should be ready in the week of July 15th.

Some improvements are also being made to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Switch specifically. Artplay and 505 have fixed HD Rumble issues in certain parts of the game. You shouldn't encounter crashes when you're transitioning between rooms anymore. Most significantly, Piraino says "work has been done" on the non-visible side of things to improve delay, stability, and other optimizations. Work is ongoing on these changes, and 505 says it'll have future updates and plans to share "soon".

A number of cross-platform improvements are also coming. Mostly, these improvements concern the in-game map. Scroll speed is being improved, as are zoom, auto-center, markers, and trail displays. If you've encountered items getting stuck in walls, the upcoming patch should fix that issue. Lastly, 505 is testing the Iga's Back Pack DLC for consoles. It's in testing on Xbox One, it's been submitted on PS4, and it's been approved on Switch. You shouldn't have to wait too much longer to battle Iga in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on consoles.

If you want a full run-down of everything that's coming to Bloodstained, check out the Kickstarter post. I'll just be over here trying for the thousandth time to defeat Iga.
