If you're keen on getting in on the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night crowdfunding campaign, you have a bit over two weeks before it's closed for good according to a backer update posted on the game's Kickstarter page.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is an upcoming video game being developed by a team headed by Koji Igarashi. Mr. Igarashi has a long history working in the Castlevania series of games up to and including Castlevania: Symphony of the Night where he served as an assistant director, programmer, and scenario writer. He and his team took their experience in the industry to make a spiritual successor of sorts in Bloodstained. Fans responded to the initial Kickstarter campaign quite enthusiastically by pledging over 11 times the requested amount of $500,000.

May 14, 2018, will be the last day that fans can slacker-back the campaign for Bloodstained. After that, the only way you'll be able to get the game is waiting for its release. People who have already backed the game should also take note that they have until May 18 to change their game platform and select which version of the Retro spin-off game they would like to receive.

If you're like to learn more about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a recent panel at SXSW gave the gaming public some insight into its development history and showed off some new features. Gamers who would like to back the project before it closes can head to igavania.com/back and select from the options there, but don't delay - slacker backing for the game ends on May 14, 2018.

How do you think the development of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been progressing? Do you think you'll back the game before the crowdfunding window closes or would you prefer to wait for the retail release? Let us know in the comments below!
