If you were hanging out til the February 6 release of Bloodbourne to get your copy, you will have to wait a bit longer.

Due to the results of the Bloodbourne alpha being postponed on October 5th, Bloodbourne's release is being delayed. Posted on October 4 on the Bloodbourne official Twitter, it was brought to player's attention that there were "some issues". One Twitter user hinted at one possible reason. According to @sultan___3 it was mentioned  that crashes took place for almost everyone the day before.[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWId6_Pemck?feature=player_detailpage&w=640&h=360]

This series of events surrounding the Bloodbourne alpha may very well be the cause of the announcement by Masaaki Yamagiya. Masaaki, the producer of Bloodbourne made the announcement via the Official Playstation blog on Nov 12. He said that the release date for Bloodbourne would have a short delay. From Software felt they needed more time in order to "deliver you the best possible experience."

Over the few hours the Bloodbourne alpha was active for, the developers collected a lot of feedback from players worldwide. Masaaki expressed his gratitude for all the player data and feedback they received from those who took part in the test. He then stated the extra development time will allow From Software to integrate what they learned from the Bloodbourne alpha into the full version of Bloodbourne.

The date has been changed from February 6 to March 24 of next year for the US, sadly three months longer than initially thought. Even more unfortunate is PAL region fans will have to wait a day extra with it launching 25th of March, and 27th in the UK and Ireland respectively. Even longer than the rest of us.

The entry from Masaaki also said to keep an eye out for further exciting news next month regarding Bloodbourne. We at TechRaptor will keep you updated as this cryptic comment becomes clear to us. Bloodbourne looks set to be another award winning title from those that brought us the likes of Demon's Souls and Dark souls. Bloodbourne, from what we at Techraptor have played of will be a console seller. SONY  made the smart play to have it as a Playstation 4 exclusive.
