Blizzard Entertainment, creators of such games as World of Warcraft and Overwatch, has announced they have established Blizzard Collectibles, a new initiative that aims to create high-end collectibles based on the company's intellectual property.

Our goal with Blizzard Collectibles is to produce pieces of art that capture the personality of our games, and we’re excited to share these premium items with gamers and collectors worldwide.
Starting today, interested parties can preorder the first wave of products in the line. The statues are all hand-painted by Blizzard and are scheduled to release in the third quarter of this year The first one is Overwatch's Widowmaker. Also from Overwatch, the more hot-topic-minded amongst you may be interested in the Reaper statue. Then there's a really cool statue of Grommash Hellscream, the (already available) Illidan Stormrage statue and a statue of Overwatch's Tracer.

Other products launching with this line are the Hearthstone Collectible Keepsake Box and there is more new stuff on the way. Here's a gallery that shows all products available for preorder:

We tend to go all-in when it comes to representing the things we’re passionate about in our work, and that’s exactly what we’re doing with this new line of high-end statues, replicas, and artwork.

Quick Take

While definitely out of my price range, these statues look cool as all hell. I'd love to get my hands on the Reaper and Tracer statues!

I've been playing games since I was just barely able to walk so I might as well write about them.
