Publisher PQube announced that stylish anime fighter Blazblue Centralfiction Special Edition would be coming to Switch in the West on February 8th, 2019. This marks the second Blazblue game to come to Nintendo's hybrid system after Blazblue Cross Tag Battle arrived earlier this year. Blazblue Centralfiction Special Edition will include all DLC and updates released so far, meaning two more characters and a system voice pack will come at no cost. Blazblue Centralfiction is the fourth game in the Blazblue series, which has been going strong since Blazblue: Calamity Trigger's release in the late 2000s. For anyone looking to grab the stellar Blazblue Centralfiction Special Edition, they can pick it up for the Switch on February 8th, 2019.

The fourth and final Blazblue game featuring the current main character, Ragnar, Centralfiction brings 30 characters to 60 different stages in 40 or more hours of story content. Picking up from where Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma left off, Centralfiction squares off its cast against secret societies and manipulative organizations in an all-out brawl.

Long known as one of the premier anime fighters, Blazblue has seen numerous appearances at tournaments and in arcades since the series' inception. Blending 2D action on top of a diverse cast and gorgeous art, we found the gameplay satisfying for both newcomers and veterans, while still offering a satisfying conclusion to the current arc of the Blazblue series. Still, Centralfiction did take the unusual step of not including an English dub, a first for the series. Aksys later confirmed that a dub would have pushed the release of Centralfiction back by six months or more. The community, in response, started a petition and gathered almost 7000 supporters who would like English voiceovers, but Aksys and Arc have shown no indication of changing their position. Whatever your feelings are on the lack of an English dub, you can pick up Blazblue Centralfiction Special Edition for your Switch on February 8th, 2019.
