BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson posted his monthly blog update today for the studio, revealing some interesting tidbits about rumored upcoming releases.

The biggest of these pertain to the studio's Dragon Age franchise, which has been dormant since 2014. Hudson revealed on his blog that more info on the next game in the franchise will be coming sooner than folks think. "Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we’re excited to continue its legacy," wrote Hudson. "Look for more on this in the coming month (though I won’t tell you where to look…)"

Hudson may be referring to the upcoming The Game Awards, which already has several confirmed world premieres being showcased on the program, including a new I.P by developer Obsidian Entertainment. Another possibility is the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, which is rumored to be showing off a new Yakuza game trailer on their own program and was announced when Sony said there would be no PlayStation Experience this year.

Regardless of when or where information is released, this is the first time BioWare has officially acknowledged information regarding Dragon Age is coming soon.

Hudson actually discussed all of the franchises in the BioWare catalog, including mentioning more content coming for their MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic and even a short recap of their N7 day announcements and re-confirmation that the Mass Effect series will return. Anthem, of course, took the lion's share of the discussion, with the game past its alpha milestone and now in the hands of the developers for what Hudson calls their "play from home" phase.

Hudson notes that this is a tradition for BioWare. "Late in a project, when the game is good enough and finished enough to really enjoy it as a complete experience, we enable it to be played at home by our developers.  It’s an incredibly important step, because it allows us to get out of the mindset of being at the office, and just be at home experiencing the game like a player instead of a developer."

There were also promises for constant content for the game post-launch, with BioWare already planning entire seasons of post-launch content for Anthem after it's release next year on February 22nd.
