Beyond Blue, the upcoming game from E-Line Media, the developers behind Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna), has just snagged a planet-sized promotion. Blue Planet II, the latest BAFTA award-winning documentary series from world-famous David Attenborough will be going on an orchestral tour around Europe starting in March, and Beyond Blue will be along for the ride. The new orchestral teaser for the game will be playing during the intermission for the concert and will feature exclusive, never-before-seen footage licensed from BBC Studios.

Beyond Blue won't be the first time that the BBC has worked with video games on projects. Back in 2003, the Time Commanders series pitted teams of contestants against each other in battles based on historical forces and made use of Total War: Rome, although it was never mentioned directly on the show to avoid breaking the BBC's rules on product placement

The game will follow Mirai, the leader of a new research team, as she and her crew dive beneath the surface and explore the breathtaking beauty and majesty of the oceans. Set in the near future, Beyond Blue will feature narrative elements to the story as Mirai sets out on her adventure into the unknown of Earth's last frontier.

Blue Planet II was originally aired in 2017. The tour will be hosted by Anita Rani, with accompaniment by the City of Prague Orchestra. It will feature conductor Matthew Freeman, and like the TV series will have music by Disney legend Hans Zimmer, composer Jacob Shea and David Fleming for Bleeding Fingers Music.

Beyond Blue is scheduled to be released for PC, Mac OSX, Linux and consoles in Early 2019 and is already available to wishlist on Steam.
