The RAGE 2: Rise of the Ghosts expansion has been announced at Bethesda E3 2019. This expansion will be bringing a bunch of fun new toys to the game for players to enjoy, but you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on some new goodies! A heck of a lot of new free content will be arriving over the next month.

One of the first highlights is that a bunch of new cheat codes are coming to the game. These will give players the ability to mix up the game in new and fun ways, just like you could in many other classic first-person shooters. These include Bloody Mess, Low Gravity, and Rejector Seat.

Stepping things up, a bunch of new vehicles are coming prior to The RAGE 2: Rise of the Ghosts expansion as noted in a news post on Bethesda’s website.

  • Boom Bringer: A pilotable mech that can smack the heck out of enemies. Also, it has guns.
  • Armadillo: A monowheel (one-wheeled motorcycle) that looks pretty cool.
  • Ghost: A motorcycle with a bunch of skulls all over it, because skulls make anything cooler. Except, like, weddings and other family-friendly stuff, I guess.

Players will have a bunch of new enemies to fight in the expansion and, of course, a bunch of new guns to blast enemies to pieces with. The Global Worming dynamic event will have players fighting against the new Sand Worm enemy, a gigantic monster that’s terribly difficult to take down. The Bug Swarm dynamic event is a bit light on the details, but I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a swarm of bugs in it.

New Stanley missions, weapon skins, daily events, Wasteland Challenges, and Community Events will be coming in the near future as well. Rise of the Ghosts will be arriving later in 2019. Check out the Rage 2: Rise of the Ghosts trailer below.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
