In what appears to be an attempt to make sure that literally everyone on the planet has played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda has just announced in their E3 conference that you can play their high fantasy open world RPG on the Nintendo Switch. That's right, this means that you can take your adventures in Tamriel's northern lands on the go, so long as your Nintendo Switch still has power.

That being said, there is no word on how mods will work on the Switch's version of Skyrim, if they are coming to the console at all. On the bright side, it appears as though Skyrim will have some kind of Amiibo support, or at the very least some (minor, aesthetic) content exclusive to the Switch, namely a Link outfit and gear. Naturally, Bethesda is keeping quiet about how practical it is to play Skyrim on the go, both from a user standpoint and from a technical standpoint.

Like all the games shown off at Bethesda's E3 conference, the Nintendo Switch version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is expected to be released by the end of the year.
