DICE has showcased their post-launch roadmap for Battlefield V, which currently features three chapters worth of content ranging from new maps, gameplay modes cosmetics and more.

The content begins about two weeks after the launch of Battlefield V, with their Overture Chapter releasing between early December and January of next year.  The big addition to this chapter is a single-player war story, The Last Tiger. Players will play a member of a lone Tiger Tank crew, as they begin to "question the ideology that got them to this point." Other content added will include a practice range that will help players hone their shooting, driving and flying skills, vehicle customization, such as tank and plane skins and decals, and weekly events, challenges and Tides of War rewards.

Chapter Two, titled Lightning Strikes, is scheduled to take place between January and March of 2019. More support for Tides of War mode is planned, with a focus on vehicle warfare and rapid infantry movement based on vehicle play. Combined Arms will also be released as a co-op experience for teams of four, who will take on a series of combat strike missions across several in-game maps.  New game modes will also be added, both from previous Battlefield games, Rush and Squad Conquest.

The final revealed Chapter is Firestorm, which will launch in March. Firestorm, of course, is the much-touted Battle Royale mode for Battlefield V, where 64 players will be waging war in a giant ring of fire that slowly shrinks the battlefield as time goes on. Firestorm also brings the war to a new location, the Cretan coastline of Greece with a theme of "tank control vs air superiority." Firestorm, like all three Chapters, will also contain new challenges and missions for the other game modes, such as Combined Arms and Tides of War.

DICE is promising that more content will be added after the third chapter drops, which will include more locations, weapons, vehicles, and missions to play through, making Battlefield V the biggest game in the franchise.

Battlefield V is scheduled for launch for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 20th.
