This week select DLC packs for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline are being given away for free. EA is giving away this DLC because they plan to reveal their next Battlefield title this Friday. You can pick up these free DLC packs on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

The DLC that is available for free is Battlefield 4’s Dragon’s Teeth and Hardline’s Robbery. The Dragon’s Teeth DLC brings with it four different maps Sunken Dragon, Propaganda, Pearl Market, and Lumphini Garden. Each of these maps have plenty of high rises, parks, and alleys to track down your competition. There is also a new game mode called Chain link which requires you to link together your capture points in order to win the round. The final new addition for this DLC is the gadget R.A.W.R, a controllable ground vehicle that comes with a machine gun and grenade launcher. For those who play Battlefield 4 multiplayer between now and the 10th of May. If players manage to accumulate 2.5 million melee kills then everyone will be rewarded with a Gold battlepack.

In Robbery for Battlefield Hardline, there will be another four maps getting unlocked: The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7. The Squad Heist game mode has been added as an homage to Battlefield 3‘s Squad Rush mode. If you want to get up close and personal in your heists then you now can with the unlocked throwing knife as well as the Vehicle Healing and CS Gas Launcher Gadgets. If the multiplayer community of Battlefield Hardline is able to collectively score over 300 thousand points then everyone involved will get a Gold Battlepack.

EA has also said that over the next couple of months there will be other promotions offering free DLC for these titles.

I have been playing all kinds of games for as long as I can remember with a particular interest in action adventure and platforming titles. While I am primarily an Xbox gamer I also spend a fair bit of time on the PS4 and on my PC in VR.
