Since its release, players fighting for the both Horde and the Alliance have arrived in droves, with over 3.4 million first-day global sales for the latest World of Warcraft expansion. This sets a new high-mark for the franchise and makes it one of the fastest selling PC games ever released.

Battle for Azeroth is a definitive chapter in the Horde and Alliance conflict at the heart of Warcraft, and it’s been thrilling to see players representing their factions in record numbers and embarking on their war campaigns—not to mention joining in ourselves. But the launch is just the beginning of this conflict. More epic content is coming to World of Warcraft in the weeks ahead, and we can’t wait for players to experience the full story as it unfolds over the course of the expansion.” - Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.
There is still much that lies ahead for those embroiled in Battle for Azeroth. Within a few weeks, players will be able to play in a new mode called Warfront - a twenty player co-op battle for control at specific strongholds throughout the expansion. The first of these warfronts is set in the Arathi Highlands.

September 4th sees two new releases, with the first of these being Battle for Azeroth's first raid, Uldir, which is an "ancient titan facility housing horrific Old God experiments gone awry."

The second release is BFA's first PvP season and first Mythic Keystone dungeon that will include a "seasonal affix". This affix is called Infested, which will introduce new challenges for the 'corrupted' peoples that live within Uldir.

In the future, additional updates will bring new content such as the Kul Tiras humans and Zandalari trolls as playable Allied Races. More information will be released as it becomes available.
