With the next and final installment in the Batman Arkham franchise releasing in less than a month it's time to take a look and see what you really get when you're pre-ordering this game and this is some next level pre-ordering. For those familiar with all of the different pre-order bonuses that came with the launch of Watch_Dogs you might know what to expect is about to come.

Looking at all of the different places that you could preorder Arkham Knight the first thing I had to do was put all of the information together in a way that actually makes sense and then for some of those packs even explain what it means.

A quick guide showing you where you can get what!

From the above list it must also be explained that the Waynetech Booster Pack contains access to four special moves that while will unlock during play will be awarded from the very beginning. These moves are Explosive Gel Takedown, Aerial Juggle, Batarangs while gliding and a weapon upgrade.

Breaking up the list of potential preorder content we can see that there is four categories; Additional content, cosmetic content, early content and physical content.

Additional content includes the Harley Quinn pack giving you the ability to play as Harley Quinn in her own story missions and the Red Hood story pack giving you a hood and a gun to explore Arkham in an entirely different way as well as more story missions.

Cosmetic content includes costume changes for Batman such as the First Appearance or Gotham's Future pack as well as the Prototype Batmobile.

The Waynetech Booster Pack is the only example of early content and the Limited Edition and Batmobile Edition are the two cases of physical content with features such as statues, art books and a comic book.

From all of these different pre-order bonuses it then is down to the consumer what they want to get in return for their money, and I'm not even going to mention the $40 season pass for this game. Arkham Knight looks like it will be a solid end to the Arkham franchise but unless you want to pre-order five times and on at least three platforms then there is no way that you will get all of the additional content.

What do you think of the way that this pre-order is being dealt with? Are you pre-ordering from anywhere specifically? Anyone else planning on waiting for the GOTY?
