Telltale has released a press release updating the community that episode two of Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within has been delayed to October 3rd. Entitled The Pact, the episode was to be released today. The reason for the delay is unknown, but Telltale released a trailer to help soften the blow.

The trailer shows more of Harley Quinn, who was recently revealed by IGN. Joining up with award-winning Troy Baker as Batman and Anthony Ingruber as John Doe, Quinn is voiced by Laura Post.

The Enemy Within debuted earlier this year as a continuation of Batman: The Telltale Series. Players are given the option to carry their choices over from season one or start anew. The Pact will expose more of what The Riddler was going off about in Episode one. The series has been widely acclaimed for Telltale's unique take on the longrunning universe, most notably their portrayal of The Joker. The plot description states:

The death of a villain at the hands of a mysterious assassin was just the beginning. As explosions rock Gotham, Batman races to meet a new foe, but encounters a force that may cause even the Dark Knight to fall. In the guise of the billionaire, Bruce meets John Doe's 'friends' and becomes enmeshed in a plot where the only way out is to go deeper in. But at what cost?
The Pact is coming to Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, and Mac. Also, both episode one and two will be available on iOS and Android. All platforms will get same day release with further episodes. October 3rd will also see retailers listing a physical Season Pass Disc for Xbox One and PS4. The disc includes the first episode of Batman: The Enemy Within, with download access to future episodes included. Episode two has been rated M for 'mature' by the ESRB.
