As Batman, these decisions can be between violence or mercy while as both characters your decisions will influence the relationships you have with those around you and will shape the future of Gotham. No villains have been announced yet for Batman but they did want people to "subvert typical expectations for villains."

In terms of continuity for the game, Telltale is choosing to create a game that is not tied to any other Batman universe. With that Telltale have also stated that they will be aiming for an M rating with the story gearing more towards a "R-rated movie." The engine will also be getting an huge overhaul so that it will act as a more significant step up from how it was in prior Telltale titles. The planned number of episodes for Batman will be five, as per usual for Telltale series, and that they hope for timely releases for their newer titles.
