The details for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight PC patch have been released.

According to a post on the Steam Community by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a long list of priority changes will address the major issues with Batman: Arkham Knight. The biggest fixes address framerate and performance issues, including optimized system memory for VRAM usage and improving performance on all GPUs.

These fixes include the addition of in-game settings for Arkham Knight, including toggles for motion blur, film grain and chromatic aberration, a texture filtering option, and a mouse sensitivity slider. Other additions include a VRAM usage meter and the ability to change the settings for Max FPS, addressing the locked 30 FPS that plagued the game at launch.

Other, priority fixes that are being worked on include fixes to the low resolution texture bugs that were found in Arkham Knight, and fixing any problems with the game running on mechanical hard drives (HDD).

The developer of Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios, is working with publisher Warner Bros. to deliver the much needed patch, and is promising that the patch will be released in the next few weeks. Previously, Warner Bros. promised the massive patch would be released by the end of August, but the post states that the patch is still being worked on, meaning a September release is likely.

The PC version of Arkham Knight has famously been met with criticism for it's lackluster PC port. So harsh was the backlash that Warner Bros. pulled the game off of Steam and other retailers back in June.

The full list of patch notes is as follows, according to Warner Bros.

Below are some of the major fixes and improvements you can expect in the upcoming patch:

• Reduced frame rate hitches
• Optimized system memory and VRAM usage
• Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
o Min Spec AMD GPU is once again the Radeon HD 7870 2GB

• More Robust In-Game Settings, including:
o Added the ability to change settings for Max FPS to 30/60/90
o Added toggles for Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberration, and Film Grain
o Added a “High” Texture Resolution value
o Added Texture Filtering option
o Added an Adaptive V-Sync option (NVIDIA only)
o Added VRAM Usage Meter
o Added Mouse Sensitivity Slider & Mouse Smoothing Option

• Fixed low resolution texture bugs
• Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)

While our first priority is fixing the issues listed above, the team is continuing to work on the following:

• Skipping the boot up splash screens
• DLC/Season Pass content
• Additional updates such as Photo Mode
