Atlus has announced that they will be bringing three Japanese titles West starting in the fall of 2017 to early 2018. All three titles are beloved JRPGs for the 3DS. The soon to be localized games are: Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth is the fifth title in the Etrian Odyssey series. In this game, players will endeavor to reach the top of the Yggdrasil Tree which is rumored to grant the greatest wish of those brave and strong enough to reach its summit. Of course reaching the top of the tree includes more than just climbing to the top, players will have to make it through the dangerous Yggdrasil Labyrinth to achieve their goal. Beyond the Myth has a mapmaking feature, party building mechanics, FOE hunting and other engaging elements to make for a well-rounded RPG experience. It will be releasing in the Americas this fall.

Next up in Atlus’ 3DS lineup for the west is Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. Following up Radiant Historia released back in 2011 for the Nintendo DS, Perfect Chronology brings players back to Vainqueur to unlock the time traveling power of the White Chronicle. Not a sequel to the original game this title is an expanded port of the 3DS version adding a substantial amount of fresh gameplay and story content, so even those that have played the original version will have something new to discover and enjoy. This updated and expanded version of the game will be available in early 2018.
Last but certainly not least we have Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux for the 3DS. Also an expanded port of its original-Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey- this game brings new story content, additional endings, a whole new dungeon and other additions to refresh this sci-fi adventure. Players will be tasked with stopping demons threatening to take over the Earth as they return to the SMT universe in Strange Journey Redux in early 2018.
Atlus will be bringing all three of these JRPG games for the 3DS to the America’s in the coming months. First Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth will be released in fall of 2017 followed by the expanded ports Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux in early 2018. All three games will be priced at $39.99.
