In this stand alone entry in the Atelier series from developer GUST, Plachta has lost her memories and it’s up to Sophie and her friends to help her remember. The mysterious alchemy book holds the key because filling it’s pages with recipes helps recover Plachta’s memories.
The game’s cast includes party members and NPC’s to help Sophie along the way. Each has their own set of skills and talents that players will find useful as they discover the mysteries of the old book and help Plachta regain her memory. Joining Sophie’s adventuring party are her good friends Monika Ellmenreich and Oskar Behlmer, as well as the knight Julio Sebald Leidenschaft and mercenary turned puppeteer Fritz Weissberg.
Back in town Sophie receives the help of item duplicator Corneria, Clock shop owner Harol Simens and traveling clothier Leon. Blacksmith Logy is returning from Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky. Horst Basler runs the local cafe and gives Sophie all the gossip around town.
