Atari has announced two new mini-consoles with built-in arcade games. Both consoles will come with five games each and will be released to the public in September 2019.

First up, it's the Atari Pong Mini Arcade. This console features a unique Atari-inspired paddle system as well as full two-player support. The following games will be available on the Pong Mini Arcade: PongBreakout, Super BreakoutOff the Wall, and Circus Atari. The Pong Mini Arcade features a fetching yellow color scheme and a retro Pong-inspired design. In Europe, it'll retail for €29.99. No word yet on US pricing, but expect to shell out a similar amount of dollars.

The other mini-console Atari is releasing is the Mini Arcade. Unlike its sibling, this one doesn't include two-player support. Instead, it features a detachable arcade-style joystick complete with D-pad controls. The games on this one are also different. Picking up the Mini Arcade lets you enjoy CentipedeAdventureSprint MasterWarlords, and Yars' Revenge. Like its sibling, the Atari Mini Arcade is going for €29.99, so it'll probably be around $29.99 when it launches in the US.

Both of these mini-consoles feature a color 2.8" screen, a built-in speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. They're both powered either by four AA batteries or by a Micro USB cable connected to an external power source. Neither console will come with a cable, though (you've probably got plenty of Micro USB cables lying around, right?). Both the Atari Pong Mini Arcade and Atari Mini Arcade are available to pre-order in the UK via Amazon (here and here). They'll both come in a rather fetching collectible gift box, so rejoice if you're into that sort of thing.

This release follows hot on the heels of Atari's recent Retro Handheld and Retro TV Joystick release. There's no word yet on whether the two consoles will be released simultaneously in the US and elsewhere, or exactly what the price will be. Both mini-arcade consoles are launching in the UK and Europe in September this year, so we'll likely know a US release date closer to that time.
