ASTRO, makers of high end gaming peripherals, announced at Gamescom earlier this year that they would be releasing a special edition of their ASTRO A40 + MixAmp M80 designed specifically for the look of Master Chief in Halo 5: Guardians. This special edition comes in a dark chrome/blue color variety that is meant to match the look of the Halo 5: Guardians limited edition console and controller.

The ASTRO A40 + MixAmp M80 allows gamers to enjoy high quality audio from their Xbox One whether it be playing a game or using any other apps. From an over-the-ear design intended to ensure they are comfy for whatever you want to do on your Xbox to features such as the ability to use the specifically designed MixAmp M80 to give you game to voice balance, total volume control, a mute button and different EQ modes these headsets are intended for all Xbox One uses. The MixAmp has also been specifically redesigned so that it will just plug into the bottom of your controller. The ASTRO A40's also include a unidirectional, noise cancelling microphone that can also be removed when required or swapped from ear to ear as you see fit.

It isn't only the color of the Halo 5: Guardians edition that is special about this version as you will also get exclusive in game content for Halo 5: Guardians when it launches on October 27th 2015. If you get this headset you will get an exclusive in game REQ pack that will feature a special ASTRO Gaming emblem. For those who don't know REQ packs are packs of cards that can be earned in game from all modes that can be used anywhere, if cosmetic, or in Warzones if they are weapons. These cosmetic changes can include different armor variants, stances, assassination animations and more.

The ASTRO Gaming Halo 5: Guardians A40+M80 MixAmp is now available to purchase via their website for $220.
