Ubisoft released some details on the upcoming Nintendo Switch edition of Assassin’s Creed III Remastered, which has already been released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, on March 29. The Nintendo Switch version has already been confirmed for release on May 21. The Switch version of the remaster will include added gameplay mechanics, as on other consoles. It will make use of exclusive Nintendo Switch features such as the touch screen interface that enhances accessibility for game menus, the Motion Control that ensures an intuitive controlled feeling during distant weapon aiming, a specific UI design that provides HUD adaptation for different display modes, and the HD Rumble that provides an additional layer of feedback during gameplay.

Ubisoft also shared some updates on Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which followed the Assassin's Creed Origins (Our Review) reboot of the acclaimed Assassin's Creed series, and managed to add a lot of dimension and RPG elements to the franchise. It is also probably the biggest title in the franchise, with an almost astounding amount of content, DLC not included. Ubisoft has shared details on the ninth episode of The Lost Tales of Greece, which is titled "One Really, Really Bad Day" and will be available for free to all players on May 14. In this new episode, players will have to unmask an imposter that has been posing as their character and damaging their reputation. To start it, players need to reach Chapter 5 in the main path of the base game. It will include two packs, the Herakles Character Pack, which contains a gear set, a mount and an axe, and the Hydra Naval Pack, containing a ship design, a figurehead, and a crew theme.

Another minor update on the Assassin’s Creed Rebellion mobile game is the Helix Rift event, which will add five new missions, transporting players to Granada on a quest for revenge. Players will be able to recruit two new Heroes, and will have more chances to unlock DNA Fragments by collecting new Hero tokens in Animus Rift Challenges. The event will be available from May 22 to May 26.
