Recently, Nintendo announced that nine indie games are now on sale through January 15th, which are all described below. There is also a giveaway of the nine indie games that will end at around 6:30 PM EST, along with a Reddit AMA on /r/nintendoswitch that will start at 2 PM EST.

Death Squared, ($11.24, 25% off), is "a puzzle game about cooperation, best enjoyed with friends." A cooperative puzzle game for 1, 2, or 4 players, players will work together in order to guide a robot to a color-coded goal. The main campaign is for 1-2 players, while the 4-player party mode will test players' resilience.

GoNNER, ($6.99, 30% off),  "is a tough as hell score-based procedurally-generated platformer with roguelike elements." Players will experience a story about a friendship between Ikk, Death, and a space whale named Sally. GoNNER also includes daily challenges, with a single random level that is only playable once per day. How high can you climb the leaderboards?

Graceful Explosion Machine, ($8.99, 30% off), is "a blisteringly intense side-scrolling arcade shooter experience." Players will man the most advanced single-pilot fighter in the galaxy, shooting, dashing, and combo-ing in an effort to find their way home.

INVERSUS Deluxe, ($9.74, 30% off), "is a competitive and cooperative arcade shooter with a mind-bending twist." Players are constrained to opposite colors of a black and white grid, so if one players' paths are another players' walls and vice versa. The game supports solo, local multiplayer, and online play. Players can also play single and local multiplayer while waiting for an online match, which supports up to four players.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, (9.99, 33% off), "is a frantic 1- to 4-player couch co-op action space shooter." Players can play in local-coop with 2-4 players (or 1 player + AI) while manning different battle stations and switching between weapons, shields, and engines. Ships are upgradeable, and with randomized layouts, players will have "fresh areas" to explore each time they play.

Semispheres, ($6.99, 30% off), "is a meditative parallel puzzle game that places dual realities at the heart of its challenge." Players will utilize a split-screen mechanic that will have them controlling two characters at once, working to solve a mystery in order to reunite the parallel worlds of Semispheres.

Severed, (9.99, 33% off), is an action role-playing game where a one-armed warrior named Sasha journeys through a nightmare world in search of her family. Wielding a sentient sword, players will solve puzzles, find secrets, and battle disturbing monsters.

Thimbleweed Park, ($14.99, 25% off), is a neo-noir mystery set in 1987, with 5 playable characters who can work together in order to solve a series of intriguing mysteries. From the mad minds behind Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion, Thimbleweed Park is a point & click game promising a joke every two minutes, and is also a game that doesn't start with the letter 'M'.

Thumper, (13.99, 33% off), "is rhythm violence: classic rhythm-action, blistering speed, and brutal physicality." Players are a space beetle who brave a "hellish void" in order to fight a giant head from the future. What is interesting about this game is that it might not be the weirdest game on this list.

It is important to note that while the sale prices are in US dollars, the sale is happening in North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand with the same percentage discounts.

What do you think of this sale? Are you going to buy any of these games? Let us know in the comments!
