60 Seconds! is now available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch and Android according to a news post on the game's Steam Community page.
Set in the golden age of Leave It To Beaver and rampant paranoia about nuclear warfare, 60 Seconds! has you facing down that which everyone in the Western world feared the most - a nuclear attack. With such short warning, you only have the titular 60 seconds of time to grab your family and as many supplies as you can before scrambling down into your family's bomb shelter in the heart of American suburbia in a fast-paced, top-down 3D game mode.
Once you (and hopefully most of your family, along with a briefcase full of useful supplies) are safely huddled inside, gameplay shifts to more of a strategy style of gameplay. You're now tasked with surviving for as long as possible with what few resources (and surviving family members) you have at hand, facing all of the perils the post-apocalypse brings with it. Unlike some other games that take place after a terrible disaster, you actually have a way to win in being rescued by someone a bit more prepared for the whole "horrifying nuclear war" thing like the government. Actually being able to pull it off is a matter of luck and scrounging the right equipment.
60 Seconds! has been available on PC since its release in May of 2015 and has recently gotten a free DLC update. Developer Robot Gentleman is currently working on a sequel of sorts with 60 Parsecs!. You can now buy it for the Nintendo Switch via Nintendo.com for $9.99 and for Android devices via Google Play for $3.99. If you'd prefer to play it on a different platform, you can get it for $4.99 (a 50% discount during the Steam Winter Sale) on Steam (for either PC or Mac) and for iOS via iTunes for $3.99.
